The Wisconsin Valley Model Railroad Club - Wausau, WI
The Wisconsin Valley Railroad is an HO Scale model railroad based on the Milwaukee Road Wisconsin Valley
division, operated as an independent railroad, circa 1950. The layout is of Double deck construction in an
area over 1000 square feet. Located in the basement of the Marathon County Historical Society's Yawkey House
museum located at 403 McIndoe Street, Wausau WI.
The model railroad is open to the general public on the third Sunday of each month from
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Wisconsin Valley Model Railroad club meets Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. weekly.
Visitors may enter the model railroad on the east side of the Yawkey House adjacent to the garden and
carriage house. The Historical Society also operates the Woodson History Center at 410 McIndoe Street
with historical exhibits and tickets available for the Yawkey House tour (fee charged).
